    Iraqi Life:
    The Finance Committee, headed by Atwan Al-Atwani, Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of its members today, hosted the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Tamim, the Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani , and the Deputy Governor of Nineveh, Hassan Thanoun, regarding the launch of governorate projects.
    A statement from the media department of the House of Representatives received by Al-Hayat al-Iraqiyya said that, at the beginning of the hosting held at the headquarters of the Finance Committee, the head of the committee welcomed the attendees and stressed the necessity of Following up on the plans prepared as a supervisory body for project implementation, and learning about the reasons for the delay in launching funding for the amounts allocated for ongoing provincial projects. And approving new projects, adding the importance of working in accordance with the government program, and the mechanism of standard document forms to ensure speed and simplification of procedures, in addition to discussing the file of the coordinating body regarding referring projects to the governorates, and Discussing solutions to the outstanding problems facing the implementation of projects.

    For his part, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Muhammad Tamim explained that the Ministry is working towards developing appropriate solutions to the problems in order to complete projects, and simplifying procedures related to launching disbursement, financing and listing projects, noting that the Ministry has established a work system to follow up on incoming mail in order to complete the work in an optimal manner, while he presented He explained the obstacles facing the ministry and how to address them, stressing that the ministry cares about all governorates in order to improve the level of services.
    The Minister of Planning revealed that designs were being drawn up to include hospital projects with a capacity of (100) beds in the governorates and an estimate of the financial costs, to be referred to the implementing companies, in addition to school construction projects.
    The committee discussed a set of observations and listened to views on the Coordination Body's procedures for referring projects, approving the disbursement of funds, auditing the statements, and the reasons for the delay in launching food security projects, in addition to the issue of design and implementation, and disengaging from the Ministry of Finance, noting the importance of the projects being In three categories in order to continue the work and complete it in record time with the adoption of productive plans, while the committee asked about petro-dollar dues and how to distribute them to the oil-producing governorates, in addition to the overdue governorates' dues.
