[size=45]Yesterday evening, a crowd of supporters of the October Protest commemorated the fourth anniversary of October 25, 2019, while the most prominent demands revolved around stopping dollar smuggling and supporting the Palestinian cause. Hundreds of protesters gathered in Al-Firdaws Square, in central Baghdad.[/size]
[size=45]On the fourth anniversary of the October demonstrations and to commemorate the 25th of the month in which protests against the ruling system were renewed in 2019. The demonstrators raised banners supporting the Palestinian cause, and the demands raised in the banners focused on local issues such as stopping dollar smuggling, addressing poverty, and ending rampant corruption in the state. At the beginning of October 2019, separate demonstrations began in various areas of the capital, Baghdad, and continued until the tenth day of the same month, before stopping based on calls from several parties to prepare for broader demonstrations in Baghdad and the provinces.[/size]
