After 24 years .. Saudi Arabia is preparing to reopen its embassy in Baghdad

The newspaper quoted 'home' Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday, the director of information management at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Osama transferred, saying that the competent authorities in the country, in cooperation with the Iraqi authorities are looking for a suitable site to be home to the embassy in Baghdad, and after that all agreed of the Foreign Ministers of the two countries, Prince Saud al-Faisal, and Ibrahim al-Jaafari, to re-open the embassy crumpled during a meeting about two months ago.
This step comes from the kingdom after 24 years of closure of its embassy on Iraqi territory, following the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
The ambassador pointed transferred (according to the statements seen by the Agency news), to the competent authorities in the Kingdom, in communion with the Iraqi brethren, is currently conducting research for the appropriate location and outfitted in the capital, Baghdad, in preparation for the reopening of the Saudi Embassy in Iraq.
This is the ad is the first of its kind by Riyadh about this file, which has been suspended, as a result of the deteriorating security situation that prevailed in Iraq after the American invasion to him in 2003.
