Shafaq News/ The General Company for Air Navigation Services affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, on Thursday, distanced itself from the video in which a group of employees appear dancing to the tune of a song praising the head of the former Iraqi regime, Saddam Hussein, during the celebration that was held yesterday at the company’s headquarters on the occasion of International Day. For the air traffic controller.
The company's general manager, Abbas Al-Baidhani, said in a statement via video that he circulated to the media, including Shafaq News Agency, that "this ceremony was attended by senior army commanders, advisors to the Prime Minister, members of Parliament, the head of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, and others."
He went on to say that, "several hours after the end of the ceremony, and the guests were bid farewell, a video appeared, and a dancehall glorified the deceased tyrant Saddam," adding that "the company and the Ministry of Transport distanced themselves, and condemned this clip in the strongest terms."
