    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:[/rtl]
    [rtl]Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Abdul Karim Abtan, confirmed that the general amnesty law would be presented for first reading in the House of Representatives before the end of the current legislative term.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Abtan said in a press interview: “The Legal Committee discussed the law as the competent authority and submitted its report to the Presidency of the House of Representatives,” noting that “House Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi directed the Secretary-General of the House to include the draft law on the House’s agenda for the purpose of the first reading.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]Abtan added that “the draft law will be read in the House of Representatives in the coming days,” stressing that “the draft law will be read before the end of the legislative term of Parliament.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]It is hoped that the second legislative term of Parliament will end on the ninth of this month.[/rtl]
