    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq Today:

    The Ministry of Commerce announced that it has received new requests from companies and countries to participate in the 47th Baghdad International Fair, while confirming that there is no intention to postpone the exhibition again from its date next January. 

    Ministry spokesman Muthanna Jabbar said, “There is no intention to postpone the 47th session of the Baghdad International Fair again, and the decision that occurred included postponing the holding of the exhibition from the current month of November to the month of January of next year 2024 , and there will be no new postponement.” 

    Jabbar added, “Preparations are in full swing, and the rented spaces and decorations remain,” noting that “the number of participating countries so far has reached 21 countries, 8 of which are Arab and the rest are foreign countries.”

    He pointed out that "there are new requests from companies and countries to participate in the exhibition, and the Ministry is in the process of contracting with them," stressing that "all procedures are ready to hold the exhibition, and the events will begin on the new date, and it will be an economic phenomenon befitting the level of the country.”[/rtl]
