The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, assigned the Iraqi Minister Plenipotentiary, Raed al-Jubouri, to assume the position of Director of the Department of Arab Organizations and Unions, in the Economic Affairs Sector of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
This position is considered one of the important positions in the General Secretariat, as it contributes directly to moving forward the wheel of joint Arab action, through the role that the administration plays in documenting and coordinating cooperation between specialized Arab organizations and unions operating under the umbrella of the League.
It is noteworthy that Al-Jubouri held several positions and files, including Director of the North Africa Department in the Arab Affairs and National Security Sector in the General Secretariat, Director of the Explanatory Memos and Agendas Department in the League Council Affairs Secretariat, and the political file and specialized Arab ministerial councils in the Permanent Delegation of Iraq to the League, in addition to a number of files. And various tasks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs center. Ended/25
