Source: Abadi begins a campaign to root out corruption and improve the performance of the Integrity Commission
BAGHDAD - Iraq Press - October 12 / October: A source close to the prime minister, said on Sunday, "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, began a campaign to root out corrupt elements, which are suspected of state institutions," noting that "there are serious steps to develop performance of the inspectors general in proportion to the size of the corruption that exists in addition to improving the performance of the Integrity Commission in the fight against corruption. "
The source added that "al-Abadi determined and within the reforms he intends to do to build a state of institutions and the elimination of administrative and financial corruption in government departments dismissal of corrupt elements and open investigation and that the committees will be charged by him to detect abuses and suspicions in overtaking on public money."
He explained that "the prime minister will oversee the work of state institutions and the visits will have to reveal how they work and their dealings with citizens, as some have deliberately obstructing the work for reasons relating to extortion and other things that are not hidden from the eyes of the Prime Minister."
