    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq Today:

A parliamentary source revealed that there is a tendency to file complaints against some governors who exploited state resources for electoral propaganda.

The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, said, “There are a number of governors who exploited the state’s capabilities and resources for electoral reasons and violated the directives and decisions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani to prevent this from being exploited.”[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "Some governors used the file of distributing land plots, despite Sudanese's instructions to wait for electoral gains, as well as the file of services and many other issues that were exploited to gain votes."[/rtl]
[rtl]He explained, “These governors have formed electoral lists in their governorates, and many complaints are awaiting them from supervisory bodies, which will be initiated.”[/rtl]
[rtl] It is worth noting that political blocs refused to pass a resolution requiring the withdrawal of the governors until the end of the provincial council elections.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee had confirmed that the reason for Sudanese not releasing the provincial budget was so that it would not be used by local governments for electoral purposes.[/rtl]
