{Local: Al-Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee stressed the government’s seriousness in reviving alternative and clean energy.
Kazem Al-Touki told Al-Furat News Agency, "The issue of activating work with alternative energy and clean energy will contribute greatly to reducing the burden on the main system."
He stated that these projects cannot be implemented directly, but the energy will be produced at the beginning of the summer season.
Al-Touki pointed out, “There is seriousness from the government and the Ministry of Electricity regarding the revival and advancement of this sector, as happened in the visits to the Gulf to connect the Gulf. We hope that it will be achieved on the ground, and that it will not be limited to meetings and agreements.”
