The parliamentary “Strategic Planning and Follow-up of the Government Programme” Committee has completed the evaluations of the ministries, and has prepared the final report that will be sent to the government after the local elections, explaining that it will go to evaluate the work of the governors after the upcoming elections.
Committee member Amer Abdul Jabbar told Al-Sabah: “The committee completed the evaluation of the ministers, and the final report was prepared. A number of ministers were competent and in control of their ministries, while other ministers were doing mediocre work and did not deserve to remain or work in the state ministries.” Stating that "the final report will summarize all evaluations."
He stressed that "there is a discrepancy in the evaluation of the work of the ministries in terms of work and implementation of the government program, and the final evaluation in general will be presented to the government," and added that "the next stage after the elections will go to the committee to evaluate the governorates and will host the governors and discuss them within the government program."
