Parliament to receive the budget from Iraqi government on Tuesday
Baghdad: The Parliament said on Monday, that it is waiting for receipt of the draft budget of the federal government on Tuesday to be incorporated into the official agenda of the meeting. The decision maker of the parliament, Niazi Oglu said "The Parliament will discuss the draft budget when arrive to the government," stressing that "the meeting will read the final report of the set up by the temporary displacement committee formed by the Parliament previously." Oglu explained that "the Parliament Speaker, Salim al-Jubouri will arrive to Baghdad today, concluding a meeting in Switzerland devoted to discuss the security situation in Iraq," pointing out that "the presidency of the parliament will hold a meeting with the heads of political blocs today to discuss the latest developments." The Parliament had sent a formal letter to the government demanded amendment of several paragraphs in the draft budget and submit it to the parliament during a period of a week, which ended before the holiday, the government did not end the formulation of the project in accordance with the political agreement. shafaaq.com
