Douglas MacGregor, a former senior advisor in the Pentagon with the rank of colonel, called on the social media network X to leave Iraq, describing his presence there as " Strategic disaster.
The expert pointed out that more than five thousand American soldiers are present in 12 or 13 bases in Iraq, and they are there playing the role of “fixed targets.”
He added that “America must Leaving Iraq... Why are we there? To hide the fact that we failed in Iraq? Iraq was a huge strategic disaster, we created chaos there.” End 25
