On Saturday, Jumana Al-Ghalai, a member of the media team of the Independent High Electoral Commission, confirmed the announcement of the results of the special vote in the local elections after the end of the general voting process.

Al-Ghalai said in a statement to “Al-Ma’louma” that “the results of the private and general voting will be announced together 24 hours after the general vote according to the provincial council elections law,” indicating that “ There is electronic counting and sorting, then manually, and then the results are announced.” .
She added that “the special voting process is taking place smoothly without any violations and there is high security coordination,” indicating that “ More than a million voters from the armed forces and security services began this morning, with high coordination, to cast their votes.”
