Khalidi: misguided economic policies could drag Iraq into Bankruptcy

The leader of the coalition are united Mohammed al-Khalidi said the wrong economic policies practiced by Iraq may attract him towards bankruptcy within the next few years.
Khalidi said in an interview with Radio Free Iraq that there are huge sums to monitor the state treasury without touching any development on the ground, asking the government to reconsider its policies and reduce financial disbursements from the military.
He pointed to the economic expert Abdul Rahman al-Mashhadani said the Iraqi government to change its economic policies, and the adoption of laws that is working to develop the economy in the country, stressing the need to reduce the deficit in the annual budgets of the country, to avoid any dangers in the future.
However, the director of planning and financial management in the Ministry of Finance Hilal Taan ruled out the possibility of bankruptcy notarization of Iraq during the next few years, pointing out that Iraq has the second largest oil reserves in the world, and issued him a month more than three million barrels per day.
