Intelligence monitoring took down a number of terrorists in three governorates

The detachments of the Military Intelligence Directorate began carrying out monitoring and investigation operations to pursue sleeper cells affiliated with ISIS terrorist gangs in a number of governorates.
Monitoring operations, through precise ambushes in the control of Al-Tahadi and Al-Intisar, and the martyr Major Aws Aziz Sweilem, resulted in the arrest of three terrorists wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/Terrorism, in the districts of Fallujah, Al-Karma, and the entrance to Abu Ghraib, and the terrorists were handed over to the relevant authorities, according to the context. Din, a force from the detachments of the General Directorate of Military Intelligence, affiliated with the Intelligence and Information Assistant in the Popular Mobilization Forces, was able to overthrow a member of the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” in the Tikrit district, where the accused was on the run in Sulaymaniyah Governorate and previously working in the so-called Salah al-Din Province - Diwan al-Jund, affiliated with the terrorist ISIS gangs.
Simultaneously with the arrest operation, a force from the Popular Mobilization Forces found war remnants belonging to the terrorist ISIS gangs in the village of Bastamli, west of al-Touz district in Salah al-Din Governorate, during a combing operation.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Operations Commander said Samarra Major General Abdul Karim Hussein Youssef told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “800 preemptive operations were carried out during the year 2023, which resulted in the killing of four terrorist elements, the seizure and destruction of seven guest houses and tunnels, and the arrest of 125 terrorists and 1,317 accused with various materials,” pointing out that “The operations also resulted in the seizure of 261 weapons stacks, the processing of one of the boats, and the seizure and destruction of 245 explosive and sticky devices.”
