    It was October 17, 2023, the date of the start of the “clamor” and the return of scenes of targeting American forces in Iraq after more than a year of “missile slumber.”
    The American forces were patient for nearly a month, and began to respond in a relative manner, but their response was limited to Syria, before they moved beyond the scope of “patience” to gradual and qualitative escalation. Since November 21, 2023, they began to respond in Iraq, in military areas or far from the center, and gradually they began to shift toward... Conducting strikes in city centers.
    The first American response in Iraq took place on November 21, 2023, and targeted a vehicle carrying members of the Hezbollah Brigades in the Abu Ghraib area, west of Baghdad. Information at the time indicated that at least one person was killed and another was injured.
    The next day, on November 22, 2023, American forces carried out an air strike in Jurf al-Sakhar, killing 5 people and wounding another.
    On December 26, 2023, the American forces carried out, in a new development, an air strike in a residential neighborhood in central Babylon, targeting the headquarters of members of the PMF, killing one person and wounding 18 others.
    On January 4, American forces carried out an air strike, this time targeting a leader in the PMF. The strike targeted the PMF headquarters in the Palestine Street area and a vehicle in which a senior leader in the Al-Nujaba Movement was riding, killing two people and wounding 8 others.
    In Jarda Hasab, from October 17 until now, that is, within 77 days, the resistance factions carried out 115 attacks that led to the injury of 60 Americans.
    On the other hand, from November 21, 2023 until now, that is, within 40 days, American forces have carried out only 4 attacks, killing 9 and wounding 25 people.
    On average, the resistance factions' toll was one American soldier being wounded every 30 hours.
    As for the toll of the American forces, it amounted to a resistance member being killed every 4 days, and a person being wounded every 36 hours.
    At another rate, the resistance kills a soldier every two attacks, while the American forces kill more than two people in every attack, and wound 6 in every attack.
