Today, Thursday, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Moeen Al-Kadhimi, considered the forced exit of American forces from Iraq a mistake and has consequences, while indicating that there is no need for them to remain because Iraq is capable of maintaining its security.

Al-Kadhimi said in his speech to the program (Openly) broadcast by Al-Sumaria TV, that “it is wrong to remove the international coalition forces in a violent manner because it will lead to consequences, and the peaceful method is through a decision from the federal government directed to the Security Council to end the presence because Iraq is capable of maintaining its security.”

He added, "The American presence was entitled to consultation and turned into drones hovering in the skies of Baghdad and the provinces and targeting whomever it wanted," indicating that "the real calm that the coordination framework can provide to the Sudanese government is to hold a clear dialogue with the American side to end its military presence and maintain respectable diplomatic relations." ".

He continued, "The call to end the American presence came on the basis that Iraq has sufficient numbers of military forces and there is no need for them because Iraq has the ability to maintain its security," explaining that "in the most difficult circumstances that the country went through, we did not witness any clear role for the international coalition forces." The sacrifices were for the Iraqis, and when we asked to arm the fighters, they said after 10 years.”

He stressed that "the law on the exit of American forces from Iraq was circumvented by the international coalition and changed the title of fighters to advisors for their survival, and the truth is that what remains is a fighting force," noting that "the government's position is clear and frank on this matter, but it is not sufficient, and the American side will respond." for this decision.”

Al-Kadhimi stated, “American support for Iraq is intangible and there are no serious solutions, neither in the field of electricity nor armament, and the economic situation of the country depends on their hands because oil money is deposited in the American Federal Reserve and is not released except through transfers, and the American side works to delay it sometimes for the purpose of increasing the price of the dollar.” "There is pressure on the government and this issue must be addressed."

He pointed out that "the best solution for the government is not to leave any justification for the armed factions to bomb by removing the American forces because their presence is considered a provocation and also to kill the leaders in the factions," noting that "the American presence and its lack of commitment to strategic frameworks is considered a 'dilemma' for any Iraqi government and the overwhelming majority within it." Parliament with his departure.

Regarding the Palestinian issue, Al-Kadhimi stressed that “Iraq is trying not to enter into the regional conflict, and Hamas and Gaza’s defense of themselves has given it a greater international dimension. If neighboring countries had intervened, the matter would not have reached this situation, because the Zionist entity is working to bring all countries into the war so that America can blatantly intervene under the pretext of Defending Israel,” adding, “The Iraqi people interact and sympathize with the Palestinian cause, but they will not involve themselves in this war.”
