    A parliamentary source reported, on Saturday, that there was a preliminary agreement between the political forces to remove the clause in electing the Speaker of Parliament due to the presence of several obstacles.
     The source said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The Acting Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, postponed the session for half an hour for the purpose of deliberation, as well as inquiring from the political forces about the election of the Speaker of Parliament.”
     He added, "Al-Mandalawi did not find any response from the Sunni forces regarding the consensus on the presidency of Parliament, which obliges him to cancel the clause about electing the president until there is consensus or the Federal Supreme Court decides on the validity of the previous session."
    The representative of the State of Law, Asaad Al-Bazouni, had expected that it would not be possible to complete the vote on the next Speaker of Parliament during today’s session, indicating that the Sunni consensus on the position and the failure of the Federal Court to decide on the previous session are the most important reasons for obstructing the session.
