    The Minister affirmed, "The Iraqi government once again refuses to let its lands be an arena for settling scores between warring countries, stressing that Iraq is not the designated place for sending messages and displaying force between adversaries. He pointed out that the Iraqi government is responsible for protecting diplomatic missions and foreign advisors in Iraq, so harming them... It is also an attack on Iraq's sovereignty and outside the framework of government policy."

    He pointed out that "it is necessary to return to the negotiating table between the Joint Military Committee to reach understandings about the advisory military presence of the United States of America and the coalition countries."

    For his part, the head of the European Union mission in Baghdad, Ambassador Thomas Seiler, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iraq, expressing the European Union’s readiness to support the stability of Iraq and work for peace and security in the region. A number of ambassadors from European diplomatic missions working in Iraq also expressed their support. To the Iraqi government.

    In conclusion, the minister stressed the necessity of ending the conflict in the region, a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and abandoning military options in order to avoid escalation in the region.
