    Economy News - Baghdad
Today, Wednesday, the Federal Service Council announced its submission of visions and proposals to appoint holders of bachelor’s and diploma degrees in various specializations, while indicating the trend to attract graduates to work in various sectors.
Service Council spokesman Saad Al-Lami told the official agency, followed by Al-Eqtisad News, that “the Federal Service Council spoke on more than one occasion and presented visions and proposals to the legislative and executive authorities regarding various specializations from holders of bachelor’s and diploma degrees,” denying that “the Council’s interest is only “Holders of advanced degrees and top students.”
He added, "There are sectors in the country that need different and diverse skills and competencies, and they are not limited only to those with advanced degrees and the first ones," noting "the need for specializations in industry, mechanization, engineering, agriculture, and other specializations."
He added, "The Federal Service Council is obligated to implement the above-mentioned appointments for specific categories, as the budget law focused on those with advanced degrees and the first ones."
He pointed out that, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, within the government program, paid special attention to the diversity of investments in Iraq and opening the way for various sectors, and thus there will be an attraction for graduates to work and gain various experiences and skills capable of bringing about change and development in the Iraqi industry during the coming years.”
