The Iraqi President is concerned about the Sudanese future.. A secret memorandum for the coordination framework

On Saturday, the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, published in London, reported the details of a memorandum that it described as “secret” and said that Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid informed the coordination framework of details and estimates about the military and security tension between the factions and the United States, and its most prominent points were “concern” about the future of the government of Muhammad Shia. Al-Sudani, amid a big question: What did the faction attacks benefit Gaza?
The Saudi newspaper report stated:
Private sources revealed to Asharq Al-Awsat an internal memorandum submitted by the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Gamal Rashid, to the “ruling coalition,” which includes most of the Shiite, Kurdish, and Sunni forces included in the “state administration” coalition, in which the president spoke about the dangers of armed factions confronting Washington. And its impact on the course of events in Palestine.
The memorandum obtained by Asharq Al-Awsat included rare positions, in light of the escalation prevailing in political positions against the Americans, the most prominent of which is concern for the future of the government of Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, which is under tremendous pressure from the factions.
The memorandum is part of a meeting held by the President of the Republic with the “State Administration Coalition,” on February 4, to discuss the “dangerous developments” resulting from the American attacks launched by Washington on figures and headquarters linked to the “Popular Mobilization Forces,” and the attacks launched by the armed factions against bases and camps located there. There are American forces in Syria and Iraq.
The factions do not serve the Palestinians.
The sources reported that President Rashid presented a vision for correcting the relationship between Baghdad and Washington, in a speech he read during the meeting, and sent a written memorandum to the leaders of the Iraqi political forces, including the “coordination framework.”
President Rashid stressed that “the frictions and movements directed by the Iraqi armed factions against the Americans did not provide anything for the Palestinian people, and did not affect the course of events in Gaza.”
He called for "decisive decisions to be taken regarding the security relationship between Iraq and the United States, with the government being the primary source of the decision after consultation with the political forces and in cooperation with the presidencies."
The Iraqi President warned that “the government alone will bear the burden of making decisions in this file (the relationship between Baghdad and Washington),” and stressed “the necessity of informing the Iraqi people of all crucial decisions, in commitment to the democratic principles on which the regime in Iraq is based.”
According to the sources, President Rashid “reviewed the history of the relationship between Washington and the Iraqi political forces and the role of the United States in supporting the opposition forces and their overthrow of Saddam Hussein’s regime, and then its cooperation with the Iraqi forces in establishing the new political system,” noting that he “praised before the leaders of the political forces the role of the United States.” The United States of America, and its participation in the fight against terrorism, and then its major role, in cooperation with the rest of the international coalition forces, in supporting Iraq to defeat the terrorist organization (ISIS), just as he noted the supportive role of “Iran in this field.”
The President believed that the Iraqi political forces bear a large part of the “imbalance” occurring in the relationship between Baghdad and Washington, while he called for “the formation of a high-level negotiating delegation that includes the presidencies and leaders of the state administration coalition to determine the form and future of this relationship.”
The sources confirmed that the vision presented by President Latif “was in agreement with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, who is under great pressure from some leaders of the (coordination framework) allied with the armed factions, which prevents him from declaring calm positions that embrace maintaining good relations with the United States.”
The sources indicated that “all the leaders of the State Administration Coalition were against escalation with Washington, and supported maintaining good relations with it.”
Concern escalated in Iraq about a “larger conflict” after an American raid targeted, last week, a leader in the “Hezbollah Brigades,” while the “coordination framework” that leads the government warned of counterattacks on the Americans, indicating that “the matter will not end there.” limit.
Tomorrow (Sunday), the Iraqi government is scheduled to resume bilateral dialogue with the Americans to resolve the future presence of the international coalition forces, but the continued escalation of the factions may make the task difficult for Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani.
