Al-Khazali said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “These leaders described the American presence in Iraq as a destabilizing factor for security, and these statements are bold and support the approach of the government, parliament, and national forces to remove foreign forces from the country.”
He added, "Security leaders have confirmed on more than one occasion that our security forces in all their forms are ready and able to protect Iraq from any external aggression, and do not need foreign forces to assist."
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces confirmed in a press statement followed by “Al-Ma’louma” that the foreign military presence has become destabilizing to security and stability in Iraq. Ended / 25 AD
