    Announced that the Committee on Agriculture and the parliamentary marshes, Sunday, in an agreement with the Ministry of Water Resources to fortify and protect dams from the threat of terrorism in the areas of military confrontations, stressing the necessity of activating the joint treaties with neighboring countries to ensure sufficient water quota for Iraq. Said committee member sunrise Abaiji during a press conference held at the parliament building in the presence of members of the committee and officials of the Ministry of Water Resources and attended by "Alsumaria News", "The Committee hosted the Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari and ministry officials to activate ways of cooperation and look at the plans, strategy and emergency problems projects lagging of the ministry." She Abaiji that "it was reviewing the situation of water for the country and the necessity of activating treaties shared with neighboring countries to ensure the quota of water sufficient for the Iraqis," asserting that " the parliamentary committee discussed with ministry officials the maintenance and rehabilitation of irrigation systems and Alambazl to serve agricultural production and achieve the interests of peasants and farmers. "
    Abaiji and showed that "it was agreed with the Ministry of Water Resources to fortify and protect dams from the imminent threat of terrorism in areas of armed conflict and military confrontations in coordination with the Ministry of Defense and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces."
