    The Ministry of Transport has initiated direct compensation procedures for travelers for their damaged or lost bags, directing the need to adhere to the implementation of all internal and external flights, within the specified time.
    Director of the Ministry’s Media Office, Maytham Al-Safi, said, “Minister of Transport, Razzaq Al-Saadawi, is present almost daily at Baghdad Airport, to address all the problems that accompanied the work of both the airport and Iraqi Airways during the past years, to ensure the provision of the best services to travelers,” stressing, “the start Procedures for direct compensation to travelers for their damaged or lost bags.
    He stated that "the development and expansion of Baghdad International Airport, based on an integrated plan, will be fully implemented with the World Bank," noting that his ministry "has begun studying the projects that were previously approved by the Civil Aviation Authority, but they were not implemented, the most important of which are belt devices and the lighting system."
