Today, Sunday, the Governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, revealed major projects that address rainwater drainage
Al-Alawi said, in an interview followed by Al-Iqtisad News, that “contracts for major projects related to sewerage were signed after the referral, which was supervised and followed up by the Prime Minister.”
He added, "The foundation stone for some of these projects will be laid soon and will be followed up on the ground with a view to completion as quickly as possible."
He explained, "The major sewage projects in Baghdad will address a special problem during the rainy seasons, in addition to providing a service that represents a basic need for residential complexes, units, and neighborhoods in Baghdad."
