The Strategic Planning and Follow-up Implementation of the Government Program Committee in the House of Representatives stated that it is continuing to implement all plans to implement the automation and electronic governance program in all state institutions.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Representative Mohamed Al-Baldawi, said: “One of the most important pillars of the government program is the governance of official procedures, and the Prime Minister is continuing to complete these programs,” noting that “work is progressive in state institutions that have suffered major problems and widespread administrative and financial corruption as a result of the absence of governance.” Electronic communication, with the presence of contact with the citizen, has lost the rights of many segments of society.”
Al-Baldawi added, "The Prime Minister has taken great steps in this field, and today, most ministries have begun contracting and developing a plan to complete electronic governance procedures."
The representative continued by saying: “Some ministries began the process of archiving and preserving data, and moved to the border crossings in the presence of the Minister of Finance, despite the problems that were raised and the attempt of some to disrupt the procedure.”
