Shafaq News/ An informed source in the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government said on Tuesday that the Council of the Ministry of Finance is scheduled to meet today to take a decision regarding announcing the salary list for last February.
The source told Shafaq News Agency: The Council of the Ministry of Finance intends to hold a meeting to collect local revenues to fill the salary deficit amounting to 300 billion dinars and announce the list of ministries’ salaries.
The source added: It is expected that salaries will be distributed according to the list of last January, and salaries will be distributed within a week.
Yesterday, Monday, the Iraqi Ministry of Finance agreed to pay 568 billion Iraqi dinars to the Kurdistan Regional Government to finance the salaries of last February.
