Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, approved on Wednesday the controls for purchasing weapons.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, said in a brief statement received by Shafaq News Agency, “The commencement of this matter will be from the first of April 2024, and these controls will be announced later.”
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior decided on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, to allow every residential home to obtain a weapon, provided that its holders register it according to the announced electronic system, noting that the deadline granted for registration ends at the end of December of the year 2024, after which it will undergo... Non-registrants are subject to legal penalties.
