    BAGHDAD / NINA / The President, Fuad Masum confirmed that Iraq is looking forward to the United States to intensify its air strike to the nests of terrorism, and to increase its assistance to refugees and displaced persons in all regions.

    He, during a meeting at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, with a delegation from the Senate, headed by Darrell, Wan Fergus and John Mica, according to a presidential statement, also stressed the need to strengthen relations between Iraq and the United States.

    The statement said: "President highlighted, during the meeting, which also included American ambassador, Stuart Jones on the political and security situation in the country.

    The members of the delegation welcomed the completion of the formation of the Iraqi government, which will be reflected positively on the political and security situation, particularly the path of the war on terrorism.

    They pointed out that the Democratic and Republican parties who, who they presented agree to support the decisions of President Barack Obama to support Iraq in the war against the terrorist organization. / End
