The Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Futoshi Matsumo, announced today, Monday (April 1, 2024), a reduction in travel ticket fees to his country from the first of the current month until March 31, 2025.
The ambassador said in a blog post followed by "Baghdad Today", "Let me share with you an update on the Japanese visa as follows... The Japanese visa fees changed from 32,000 Iraqi dinars to 30,000 Iraqi dinars."
He added: "The amended fees will be effective from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. Any Iraqi citizen who wants to apply for a visa is inconvenienced by applying to the approved travel agencies in Baghdad and Erbil, depending on his place of residence."
He concluded by saying: “Check out this link and contact the designated travel agencies. Please note that travel agency fees are charged in addition to visa fees.”
