    He pointed out that "Sudani's visit to Washington has five goals, the most prominent of which are the economic file and ways to strengthen it, building investment partnerships, attracting giant companies, and giving a strong impetus to the Prime Minister's strategy to bring Iraq to the stage of sufficiency in the energy file, ending imports, and transferring the experience of investing in gas and its enormous reserves to another stage." "It generates more money for the country's treasury."
    The Prime Minister began a visit to Washington at the invitation of US President Joseph Biden, to strengthen relations between the two countries and move forward with the strategic agreement between Iraq and America, which was signed in 2008 following the end of the US occupation of the country in 2003.
