Did Sudanese find “combined electricity” in Washington, and is there relief in 2030?

The Ministry of Electricity says that it is possible to supply the country with 24-hour energy throughout the country before 2030, if the current government’s plans succeed, while the Ministry’s spokesman explained the importance of the memorandums of understanding that Iraq signed with American companies during Sudanese’s visit to Washington, stressing that they will contribute to adding 3 Thousands of new megawatts, especially with the installation of “combined cycle” units, which is considered a modern technology for doubling energy and will be applied in General Motors contracts.
Ahmed Al-Moussawi, in an interview with journalist Ali Emad:
The memorandum that the ministry signed with General Electric is a continuation of the previous memorandum, and it is also a continuation of the contracts that were previously signed with it regarding long-term maintenance.
These memorandums were signed on the basis of adding 3,000 new megawatts, on the basis of “combined cycle” projects, and these require the installation of generating units that operate on the products of the combustion of gases from simple cycle units, meaning these units and their 3,000 energy productions do not operate on fuel or on Gas is environmentally friendly and helps reduce carbon.
What this company provided throughout its period of operation was 19 thousand megawatts of the system’s production.
We have a contract with Stellar Energy and we are also working on installing combined cycle units in the Al-Sadr and Kirkuk gas stations, which can extract from the generated heat half the power of the station, meaning we are talking about 600 megawatts, and from the Kirkuk station we can extract a new 300 megawatts from the combined units. These operate without energy, reduce dependence on fuel and gas, and are environmentally friendly.
We had understandings (with American companies) about investing in the gas that is burned and converting it into energy directly from within the gas field. These are quick-to-install plants that may take 6-8 months, and all memorandums of understanding are to produce 7,500 megawatts.
Now we import gas worth $4 billion annually. National gas meets a third of the need, national fuel a third of the need, and Iranian gas a third of the need. All our agreements and directions in the projects are to reduce the gas supplied.
With the government's great direction, we will be able to prepare 24 hours a day sooner than 2030.
On the first of May, we will reach 27 thousand megawatts, and what we need is 42 thousand megawatts, meaning the difference is 15 thousand megawatts, taking into account the need to increase by 2 thousand megawatts annually.
There are electrical goods that enter and harm the electrical network, and this is an invitation through the program, provided that the goods are controlled.
