    [size=45]The Minister of Planning, Muhammad Tamim, discussed with the Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa, Osman Dion, and his accompanying delegation, support for Iraqi government policies in revitalizing non-oil sectors, with the aim of achieving economic diversification and reducing dependence on oil.[/size]
    [size=45]The ministry’s office stated in a statement:
    Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Dr. Muhammad Ali Tamim, received today, Wednesday, the Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa region, Dr. Osman Dion, and his accompanying delegation, which included Mr. Jean-Christophe Carré, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa region. Asharq Al-Awsat, Mr. Richard Abdel Nour, Special Representative of the World Bank Mission in Iraq, Mr. Ibrahim Dajani, Director of the Infrastructure Sector, and Ms. Lubna Al-Hajji, Advisor to the Vice President of the World Bank.[/size]
    [size=45]During the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of International Cooperation, Dr. Saher Abdel Kazem, the reality of bilateral relations between Iraq, the Bank and the World Bank was discussed, and the role of the Bank’s mission in supporting the policies of the Iraqi government towards achieving economic reform and revitalizing the non-oil sectors, with the aim of achieving economic diversification and reducing dependence on oil. .[/size]
