Shafaq News/ Al-Nahrain Islamic State Bank announced on Sunday that it had begun granting loans to married couples on bail.
Imad Rassan, assistant director of the bank, told Shafaq News Agency that he began granting married couples loans of up to 10 million dinars for a period of five years, with an interest of two million dinars, bringing the amount upon repayment to 12 million.
He added that the required conditions are for the loan owner to provide a guarantee, provided that receipts are provided for the materials required to be purchased from the selling person, such as electrical appliances and home appliances, where the bank pays the amount to the selling person.
The bank's assistant director continued by saying that the marriage contract must be valid and less than two years from the date of marriage.
