Kanna: The Constitutional Amendments Committee was completely marginalized for two reasons

Information / Baghdad..
Member of the Constitutional Amendments Committee, former MP Yonadam Kanna, confirmed today, Sunday, that the committee completed most of the constitutional amendments it had made, but its work stopped and its amendments were placed on the shelves of Parliament.
Kanna told Al-Maalouma, “The main problem regarding the constitutional amendments is not related to the legal formulations. Rather, the committee’s work was stopped and what it accomplished was placed on the shelves of Parliament due to political differences.”
He explained, "The committee resolved many of the constitutional amendments, including those related to the reformulation to control the language and cancel the interpretation of the article in two interpretations, but some articles are still a matter of disagreement."
He added, "The first dispute is between the region and the center and revolves around the relationship between the two parties, and the second is related to the dispute over the form of the political system, presidential or parliamentary."
He called on the House of Representatives to "activate the work of the committee and hold intensive dialogues between the political forces for a political agreement." Ended / 25 AD
