On Monday, the Arab Parliamentary Union agreed to Iraq’s objection to including the “principle of the two-state solution” in the conference decisions, and decided to remove it from the final statement.

A statement by the media [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/entity/2706516430/%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%A6%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A/ar/]department of the Iraqi Council[/url] of Representatives stated, “The Arab Parliamentary Union agreed, today, Monday, to the objection of the delegation of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/entity/1739705338/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%A8 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A/ar/]Iraqi Council of Representatives[/url] to include in the decisions of the conference (the principle of the two-state solution), and decided to remove it from the final statement of the (36th) conference of the union, which held its work in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].” For the period 26-27 May 2024.
