Today, Monday (June 3, 2024), the Ministry of Health issued the ministerial order appointing scientists to permanent staff.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that “based on the letter of the Federal Public Service Council and the approval of the Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, the Administrative, Financial and Legal Department of the Ministry of Health issued ministerial orders regarding the appointment of those in supporting health professions (scientists) who hold a bachelor’s degree and are covered by the Third Amendment.” Law on the Graduation of Persons in Medical and Health Professions No. 6 of 2000 and 50/112/2198 on April 21, 2023, which includes the appointment of holders of advanced degrees included in the above law.”
She added that "the number of scientists included in the appointment reached 2,986."
