[rtl]The American Chamber of Commerce expressed its concern for employees of companies and restaurants carrying American trademarks in Iraq.[/rtl]
[rtl]Chamber Vice President Steve Lutz said, “We are concerned about those employees and companies,” noting that “what is regrettable is that targeting these companies is targeting Iraq and its residents, and those who work in those companies are Iraqis who receive their salaries from there and support their families.”[/rtl]
He added, "The attacks harm the Chamber of Commerce, and we are not happy about that," noting that "this is not a good way at all to express protest against major issues."
The Vice President of the Chamber praised the position of the Iraqi Prime Minister, saying: “We are happy to see people like the Sudanese Prime Minister expressing their concern and not supporting these (attacks).”
He pointed out that "companies have a good understanding and know that this is a temporary matter," noting that "many investments in various sectors were not affected by the attacks."
