Economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi confirmed today, Friday, that gas flaring rates in Iraq decreased in the first half of this year compared to the previous year.
Al-Marsoumi said in a tweet, "Iraq ranks third in gas flaring operations."
He explained that "Iraq comes after Russia and Iran in the world in flaring gas, at a rate of 17.9 billion cubic meters in 2023."
He explained, "This level is about 200 million cubic meters less than in 2022." End 25
