    Al-Maalouma / Baghdad.. 
    The head of the Iraqi Foundation Coalition bloc, Salah Zini, revealed today, Tuesday, that there is a parliamentary trend to amend Article 57 on child custody to do justice to the Iraqi family. 
    Zini said in an interview with / Al-Maalouma / agency, "There are many divorce cases recorded daily due to Article 57, noting that amending Article 57 of the Personal Status Law is necessary to preserve the Iraqi family." 
    He added that "the high divorce rate is a warning bell that threatens the Iraqi family and society due to Article 57, which was enacted by the former regime."
    He pointed out that "there is a parliamentary trend to amend the article during the current legislative session in order to do justice to the Iraqi family." 
    Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, revealed, during a previous interview with / Al-Maalouma / agency, that there are attempts and pressure regarding amending Article 57 of the Personal Status Law, which Parliament is working to amend. End / 25 H
