    [size=45]Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced that Iraq has decided to place the Kurdistan Workers' Party on the list of "banned parties."[/size]
    [size=45]"We will reach certain understandings with the Turkish side regarding the Bashiqa camp," north of Mosul, where Turkish forces have been present for years despite Baghdad's objections, Hussein said in a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in Ankara.[/size]
    [size=45]Hussein expressed "Iraq's concern about the intensity of tensions in the region and what is happening in Gaza."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that "we are seeking a ceasefire in Gaza."[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, the Turkish Foreign Minister announced “the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Turkey and Iraq regarding military and security cooperation and combating terrorism.”[/size]
