Labor: Next month, pensioner differences will be released

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs will launch the special differences for the salaries of retirees who submitted grievance requests to recalculate them next October, while it has completed its five-year strategic plan for the period (2024-2028) to develop the sector and its workers.
The ministry’s spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, told Al-Sabah: The ministry has finished preparing the new five-year plan and launched the “Dhamanati” service via the “Aur platform” to request affiliation to optional retirement and recalculate the retirement salary, in addition to continuing to follow up on salary adjustments for grievance requests submitted by retirees, as they will be included in the differences next October after amending the allocation decisions for them according to the retirement equation.
He pointed out that there is a great demand from workers to register for the optional insurance, in addition to the field committees following up on the procedures for registering workers in the private sector and investment companies with social security, which contributed to the increase in the number of insured persons compared to previous years.
He pointed out that the ministry is preparing to launch a campaign to raise awareness of the retirement and social security law in the coming weeks.
In order to inform all private sector workers about the privileges and rights and their importance to them and their families, it was preceded by workshops in preparation for its launch, and it includes several stages to reach the desired results and expand the culture of social security among the working class, pointing to the possibility of developing the awareness campaign and launching it under the management of the International Labor Organization because this law is considered one of the most important laws enacted during this stage and serves a wide segment of society.
