[rtl]Mosul / NINA / The General Company for Communications and Information Technology has started implementing the FTTH optical cable project in all districts and sub-districts of the administrative units affiliated with Nineveh Governorate.
A source in the General Company for Communications said in a statement to the correspondent of the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA / that "the engineering teams affiliated with the General Company for Communications and Information Technology have started implementing the FTTH home optical cable connection project in the Qayyarah district and some districts and villages south of Mosul as an alternative to the Internet provided to citizens with WiFi technology."
The source added that "the General Company for Communications is working continuously and continuously to connect the FTTH home optical cable in most of the residential neighborhoods on the left and right of Mosul and the old city after being deprived of this cable for more than 10 years due to the security events that occurred in the city of Mosul,"
noting that "Nineveh Governorate is making great progress by connecting this cable, which will provide a significant improvement and speed to the Internet lines within government departments and residential homes as well." / End[/rtl]
