Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani and Azm Alliance leader Muthanna al-Samarrai discussed on Saturday efforts to elect a new speaker of the Iraqi parliament and the latest developments in the region.[/size]
[size=45]This came during President Barzani's reception of Al-Samarrai and his accompanying delegation at Salah al-Din Resort in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, views and opinions were exchanged on the political situation and developments and events in Iraq. The recent efforts and endeavors to elect a new Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament were also discussed.[/size]
