    Information / Baghdad..
The head of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Majid Shankali, revealed today, Tuesday, the possibility of extending the legislative session in order to legislate laws that serve health.
Shankali told Al-Maalouma Agency, "There are a number of laws before the Parliamentary Health Committee, including the Mental Health Law, the Tobacco Protection Law, the Doctors Support Law, and raising the retirement age."
He added that "legislating important laws has become an urgent necessity as they serve the health sector in the country, noting that there is a trend to extend the legislative term in order to legislate important laws within the House of Representatives."
He added, "The number of sessions during the current legislative session is very small due to political problems and controversial laws." End /25 H
