The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, on Saturday, that no corruption has been recorded in electronic passport granting transactions since its implementation until now.[/size]
[size=45]The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement today, “Through the supervisory authorities in the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, the Directorate of Personnel Security, as well as the Internal Security Forces Inspection Authority, and the activation of continuous monitoring and follow-up, the electronic passport has achieved a new breakthrough in combating corruption.”[/size]
[size=45]He explained that the corruption rate since the implementation of this passport has reached zero percent, which indicates the Ministry of Interior’s relentless efforts to eliminate all suspicions of corruption and move forward with the electronic automation project in the joints and formations of the Ministry of Interior.[/size]
