[rtl]Today, Sunday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, and the Secretary-General of the Iraqi National Project, Jamal Al-Dhari, stressed the importance of activating the oversight and legislative role of Parliament.[/rtl]
[rtl]The media office of the Speaker of Parliament noted in a statement that “Al-Mashhadani met with the Secretary-General of the Iraqi National Project, Jamal Al-Dhari, to discuss the latest developments in the political arena and developments in public affairs in the country.”[/rtl]
[rtl]They stressed the need to legislate important laws, most notably amending the general amnesty law, which the national forces agreed upon in the political agreement paper.[/rtl]
