[rtl]The General Company for Ports announced the start of the process of receiving the five berths in the Grand Faw Port, while indicating that the Grand Faw Port will be fully completed next year.[/rtl]

[rtl]The General Manager of the General Company for Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said that the completion rate of the five berths project for the Grand Faw Port has reached 100%. He explained that the handover operations have begun, while the completion rate of the port road has reached 92%, and work is continuing on the remaining projects.[/rtl]

[rtl]He pointed out that the process of submerging the ten concrete blocks that make up the submerged tunnel has begun, in preparation for transporting them to the site designated for constructing the tunnel in its two parts, where the first part consists of approaches with a length of 1200 meters, while the length of the submerged part under the Khor Al-Zubair Canal is 1260 meters. He added, “The full completion of the Grand Faw Port will be announced during the coming year, as we will announce the receipt of the five projects with a 100% completion rate.”[/rtl]
