[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani issued a directive on Thursday regarding the file of foreign lawsuits.
The media office of the Minister of Justice stated in a statement that "Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani chaired a meeting that included the Director General of the Legal Department, Haitham Mohi Radhi, and the Director of the Foreign Litigation Department in the Department, as well as officials of the legal divisions, to discuss the file of foreign lawsuits and the recommendations of the committee tasked with managing lawsuits filed by the Prime Minister's Office."
He explained that "during the meeting, procedures for contracting with international companies were discussed, as well as contracting with experts in the field of arbitration to benefit from their expertise, in addition to expediting the completion of the database for foreign lawsuits and determining the requirements for resolution based on the list of tasks and according to priority."
Shawani directed to contact the Iraqi Bar Association to nominate lawyers with experience in foreign lawsuits to benefit from their expertise in this field.
The statement added: "The meeting discussed the measures taken by the competent committee assigned by the Minister to follow up and manage lawsuits filed by the Prime Minister's Office." / End 2 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl]
